I have been getting more and more interested in photography over the past couple of years.  I'm only learning, but I certainly enjoy taking pictures!

Here are some of my favourite shots that I've taken.  They're not necessarily my best - rather, they're simply shots that appeal to me, each for a different reason.

I took this picture on a field-trip to the IMMA - The Irish Museum of Modern Art.

I like the juxtaposition between the very classical garden and the bustling development of modern Dublin.

I took this shot on a lovely sunny day down at the beach in Bray.  I like it because now, in the depths of darkest winter, it reminds me of how gorgeous Ireland can be when we get a bit of sunshine!

This is another shot from the same day of me and my sister, Becky.  I love this picture because it encapsulates all the fun we have together.  Being carefree in the summer sun is just the best feeling!

Another year over, and a new one just begun...

Well, not quite over yet!

A new year is a new beginning, a fresh start, so I've decided to start this blog as a small space where I can share a little bit of myself - my interests, photographs I like, lyrics and quotes I come across, that kind of thing.

I have a busy year ahead of me to be sure - completing my mod year in university, completing my probation year as a NQT (Newly Qualified Teacher), working full-time and running a home!  I think this blog will be a welcome distraction for me, if only as a place to share my random musings!

I'm sure I will enjoy this blogging experience!
